  2. The Service performs functions involving acquisition of information on users and their behaviour by saving cookies in users’ computers.
  3. Cookies constitute information data, in particular text files, which are stored in Service User’s computer and are intended for the purposes of using the Service internet pages. Cookies usually contain name of an internet page they originate from, duration of keeping them in user’s computer, and a unique number.
  4. Service Operator is the entity placing cookies in Service User computer and obtaining access to them.
  5. Cookies are used for the following purposes:
    • developing statistics helping to understand how the Service Users utilise internet pages, which allows improving their structure and content;
    • keeping Service User’s session (after logging in) - owing to this User does not have to re-enter login and password on each subpage
    • determining users’ profiles in order to show them matched materials in Display Networks, especially Google Display Network

  8. Limitations regarding the use of cookies may affect some functions available on internet pages of the Service.
  9. Cookies placed in Service User’s computer can be also used by advertisers and partners cooperating with Service Operator.

  11. Cookies may be used by Display Networks, in particular Google, for displaying advertisements matching the way how a user utilises the Service. For that purpose cookies may keep information regarding user’s navigation path or time of staying on a given page.
  12. As regards data on user’s preferences gathered by Google Display Network, the user may view and edit information contained in cookies using the following tool: https://www.google.com/ads/preferences/.
  13. If users do not want to receive cookies, they can modify browser settings. However, we stipulate that disabling cookies necessary for processes involving authentication, security, or maintaining user’s preferences may render difficult, or in extreme cases make it impossible to use internet pages.
